About me
Milan Kovačević is an illustrator and historian from Belgrade, Serbia. He is greatly inspired by Baroque and Rococo - art, culture and everyday life of the Gallant age. Other great inspirations are the ancient civilizations - like art, history and mythology of the ancient Egyptians, Etruscans, Greeks, as well as some other periods, like Renaissance or Art Deco. His illustrations are an hommage to the enchanting pleasures of these splendid ages, celebrating love, happiness, beauty and joy de vivre. Milan’s other great interests are art history, books, nature, etc. Interested in making book illustrations, as well as other things. At the moment, working on a project about illustrative food packages, as well as textile printing.
